Ser Addam Marbrand is the son and heir of Lord Damon Marbrand. Addam is an excellent horseman . During his youth, he was page at Casterly Rock and a childhood friend of Jaime Lannister. He is rangy, with dark, shoulder-length copper hair.[1]
Recent Events
A Game of Thrones
He is the commandant of Lord Tywin Lannister's cavalry on the battlefield. He accompanies him during the war of War of the Five Kings in the Riverlands and commands the right wing at the Battle of the Green Fork. During the council that follows the announcement of the defeats of the Whispering Wood and the Camps, he pushes to go on with the war and fighting the young lord Stark, with whom he wishes to "try my own steel".
A Clash of Kings
Ser Addam continued to be part of Tywin Lannister's force. He was the first to depart Harrenhal when Tywin left the castle. At the Battle of the Fords, Ser Addam was thrown back three times. He distinguishes himself at the Battle of the Blackwater.
A Storm of Swords
After the Battle of the Blackwater, he is temporarily made Commander of the City Watch of King's Landing.
