Appearance and Character
[edit]Haggo is a huge man[1][2] with a broad face[3] and huge hands.[4]
The oft silent Haggo is not as friendly as Cohollo.[1]
The bloodrider wields an arakh.[2]
Recent Events
[edit]A Game of Thrones
[edit]Daenerys Targaryen sees Haggo with Khal Drogo when she comes to Drogo's manse in Pentos.[5] As a gift at their wedding, Haggo gives them a large leather whip with a silver handle.[6] Daenerys is frightened by Haggo.[1]
When Viserys Targaryen bares steel during a feast in Vaes Dothrak and threatens Daenerys, Drogo orders his bloodriders to seize him. Haggo shatters Viserys's wrist while the others pin and disarm him.[4]
Haggo is distrustful of Mirri Maz Duur when the maegi is taken captive at a city of the Lamb Men.[3] The bloodriders blame Mirri for Drogo's festering wound, and Haggo strikes her in the face.[7]
When Daenerys intends to have Mirri heal Drogo using bloodmagic, his bloodriders intend to stop her. As Rakharo and Haggo duel with their arakhs, Jhogo intercedes by lashing his whip around Haggo's throat. The bloodrider falls to the ground, and Rakharo swings his blade between Haggo's eyes, killing him.[3]
