Aegon Frey, better known as Aegon Bloodborn, is the eldest son of Ser Aenys Frey and Tyana Wylde.[2]
Character
History
His mother, Tyana Wylde, died in childbirth, which would perfectly explain Aegon's nickname, except that Tyana survived his birth as she later had his younger brother, Rhaegar.[2]
Theories
It has been speculated that Aegon Bloodborn is one of the many outlaws of the brotherhood without banners, working for them in their fight against his own family,[3] possibly being part of hanging both Petyr Frey and Merrett Frey, making him a kinslayer.[4] There is also a band of outlaw bowmen who killed Cleos Frey on the Duskendale road that is not connected with neither the brotherhood nor the Brave Companions.[5]
