A Storm of Swords
When the brotherhood without banners arrives at Stoney Sept, the captain of the gate informs them that the town had been attacked by Bloody Mummers and wolves looking for Ser Jaime Lannister, who had escaped Riverrun, so the Mad Huntsman was now looking for him with his dogs. When Lem remarks that Jaime's corpse is not good to anyone, the captain reminds him that the westermen raped the Mad Huntsman's wife and his sister, ate half his sheep and killed the rest for spite, and slew six of his dogs, so Jaime's corpse would be good for both the Mad Huntsman and himself, for which Lem calls him a fool.[1]
Quotes
Course, there's plenty want to take what we got. Wolves one day, Mummers the next. Them that's not looking for food are looking for plunder, or women to rape, and them that's not out for gold or wenches are looking for the bloody Kingslayer.[1]
