Masha Heddle's nephew is a member of the Heddle family.[2] According to a semi-canon source, he is the father of Willow and Jeyne.[1]
Recent Events
A Game of Thrones
His aunt Masha Heddle is hanged by Lord Tywin Lannister at the inn at the crossroads.[3]
A Storm of Swords
Masha's nephew reopens the inn, bringing in whores to attract customers.[2]
Visiting the inn for wine and information, Sandor Clegane and Arya Stark happen upon three of Gregor Clegane's men. In the subsequent conversation, Sandor warns the innkeeper, who is probably Masha's nephew, that the Mountain's men plan to torture him to find out where he keeps his gold, which kickstarts a fight. Sandor and Arya kill Polliver, the Tickler, and a pimply squire, but Sandor is badly wounded in the mêlée.[4]
A Feast for Crows
When questioned by Rafford, the innkeep and his whores attribute the deaths of Gregor's men to Sandor, but Raff the Sweetling decides not to send men after the Hound.[5] When Ser Jaime Lannister arrives at Harrenhal, he requests to interview the whores from the crossroads.[5]
According to Septon Meribald, Masha's nephew was killed by an unnamed lord.[2] According to Timeon, the innkeep was killed by Rorge, formerly of the Brave Companions, after being questioned.[6]
Jeyne and Willow, the nephew's daughters,[1] reopen the inn as both a business and a refuge for orphan children, and later they ally with the Brotherhood without Banners.[2]
