Tyler Hill was a knight in the service of House Lannister and a bastard son of Lord Lyman Lannister of Casterly Rock.[1]
Appearance
Tyler was an attractive man.[3]
History
So as to support Prince Aegon Targaryen in his fight against King Maegor I Targaryen without openly declaring House Lannister for either side, Lord Lyman Lannister provided Aegon with five hundred Lannisport men led by Tyler.[1] Unlike Aegon, the bastard survived the Battle Beneath the Gods Eye but received scars during the fighting.[3]
The widowed Queen Rhaena Targaryen and her third husband, Androw Farman, briefly stayed at Casterly Rock with the Lannisters after being forced to leave Faircastle by Lord Franklyn Farman. Tyler attempted to woo Rhaena and was hostile toward Androw.[3]
