Tyshara Lannister was a member of House Lannister during the reign of King Aegon III Targaryen.[2]
History
Tyshara was a daughter of Lord Jason Lannister and his wife, Lady Johanna Westerling.[2] She had four sisters, including Cerelle,[2] and one brother, Lord Loreon.[3]
After the death of Queen Jaehaera Targaryen in 133 AC, Lady Johanna set aside her war with the ironmen long enough to write to Lord Unwin Peake, the Hand of the King, that her daughters Tyshara and Cerelle were maidens of noble birth and marriageable age.[2]
Not long after the Maiden's Day Ball was announced, Tyshara was found abed with a groom. Tyshara claimed that the groom had climbed through her window, but Grand Maester Munkun's examination found her maidenhead to be broken. However, it is still likely that the groom was planted, as it was heavily rumored that the King's Hand set out to ruin various maidens to promote his own daughter as Aegon III's second queen.[2] Moreover, it is quite common for highborn ladies to lose their maidenheads while horseback riding.[4]
