Tobho Mott is a Qohorik master armorer who owns a shop at the top of the Street of Steel in King's Landing.^[2] He is one of the few armorers who can work Valyrian steel,^[3] taking Gendry, one of King Robert I Baratheon's unacknowledged bastards, as an apprentice after being paid double the customary fee by a stout brown-bearded man with a hooded cloak.^[2]
