Lhazar is an area of the semi-arid lands south of the Dothraki sea. A region of pastures and hills, it is inhabited by the Lhazareen, a people of sheepherders, and in the southern parts by Ghiscari. There are three cities in Lhazar, Hesh, Lhazosh, and Kosrak. The Skahazadhan passes through northern Lhazar.[1]
Lhazar borders the Dothraki sea to the north and Slaver's Bay to the south. It is connected to Meereen via the Khyzai Pass in the sandstone mountains.[2]

[edit]An unnamed city of the Lamb Men in the southern Dothraki sea is attacked by the khalasar of Khal Ogo and then sacked by the khalasar of Khal Drogo. Drogo claims the the Lhazareen of the settlement belong south of the river bend instead of in the Dothraki sea.[3]
A Clash of Kings
[edit]Daenerys Targaryen avoids Lhazar after Drogo's death, leading her small khalasar instead into the red waste.[4]
A Dance with Dragons
[edit]Daenerys, now Queen of Meereen, sends the Stormcrows to Lhazar, and Daario Naharis is able to negotiate an alliance between Lhazar and Meereen.[5][6]
