Manfred Hightower was Lord of the Hightower and head of House Hightower during the reign of Kings Aegon I Targaryen and Aenys I Targaryen. He had two sons, Martyn and Morgan, and a daughter, Ceryse.[2]
History
In 23 AC, when Queen Visenya Targaryen suggested a betrothal between her son Maegor and her newborn niece Rhaena, the High Septon objected to the match and suggested instead his own niece, Manfred's daughter Ceryse.[2] She and Maegor were wed in 25 AC.[2]
In 39 AC, when Maegor took a second bride by wedding Alys Harroway, Lord Manfred made protest to King Aenys I Targaryen, demanding that Lady Alys be put aside.[2]
Manfred died in 41 AC and was succeeded by his son Martyn.[2]
