A bathhouse is a public or communal building used for washing, soaking, and sweating.

Several castles have a brewhouse, such as Harrenhal,[1] the Nightfort,[2] and Riverrun.[3] Septries often have brewhouses,[4] such as the Quiet Isle.[5]
History
Wolf's Den in White Harbor used to have a brewhouse in Fishfoot Yard which made a black beer whose casks could fetch as much as Arbor gold in Braavos and the Port of Ibben.[6]

A Storm of Swords
After dispatching members of the Brave Companions during the battle at the burning septry, the brotherhood without banners shelters from a storm in the septry's brewhouse, where Tom of Sevenstreams sings several songs about rain, including "The Rains of Castamere".[7] While resting there, Gendry tells Ser Beric Dondarrion that he would like to smith for the brotherhood, so Beric decides to knight him as Ser Gendry, knight of the hollow hill. Soon after, Sandor Clegane appears, claiming he killed the sentries, and demands his gold back, but is rebuffed by Thoros of Myr, who commands him to leave.[7]
