Damion Lannister is a knight of House Lannister, a cousin of the main branch. He is married to Shiera Crakehall. They have two children, Ser Lucion and Lanna Lannister.[2]

Damion is named castellan of Casterly Rock by Queen Regent Cersei Lannister, the new Lady of Casterly Rock, to spite Ser Kevan Lannister, who declined the office of Hand of the King when Cersei refused to name him Lord Regent.[3]
