Arya's prayer is a list of the names of people that Arya Stark hates and wants dead.[1][2]
During her journey, Arya is subjected to many hard situations in the war-torn Riverlands. Her fiery personality prompts her to take the initiative and fight back, which causes her to kill and ultimately wish to murder specific people herself. Therefore, she creates a list of the people she wishes dead, which she continues to repeat to herself over her journey. Some names are added as she goes, and others are dropped when the character dies or becomes closer to her. She calls it a prayer,[1][2] and ends it with the words valar morghulis.[3][4]

A Clash of Kings
During the journey to Harrenhal, Arya creates a prayer of those she hates and wants to kill. These include Ser Gregor Clegane and several of his men, such as Dunsen, Polliver, Chiswyck, Raff the Sweetling, the Tickler, but also Gregor's brother Sandor for killing her friend, Meryn Trant for killing her dancing teacher, Amory Lorch for killing Yoren, and Ilyn Payne, Joffrey Baratheon, and Cersei Lannister for beheading her father.[1]
Although Jaqen H'ghar did not explain the meaning of valar morghulis, Arya begins to use the words with her prayer of the people she hates and wants dead.[5]
