Dyanna Dayne was a noblewoman from House Dayne during the reign of King Daeron II Targaryen. She married Daeron's fourth son, Prince Maekar, and together they had six children: Daeron, Aerion, Aemon, Aegon, Daella and Rhae Targaryen.[3]
History
Dyanna died before 209 AC,[1] well before Maekar's ascendance to the Iron Throne in 221 AC, thus she never became queen consort.[4]
On his way to the Ashford tourney in 209 AC, Ser Duncan the Tall mistook young Prince Aegon Targaryen for a stableboy. Aegon asked Duncan to take him to Ashford and, presuming the innkeep was Aegon's mother, Duncan asked him what his mother would say to the request. When Aegon stated that she wouldn't say anything because his mother was dead, Duncan assumed the boy was an orphan.[1]
