Raymund Frey is a knight from House Frey and is the eleventh son of Lord Walder Frey, the sixth born of his marriage to Amarei Crakehall. Raymund is married to Beony Beesbury.[2]

Ser Raymund is introduced to Lady Catelyn Stark at the Twins when he is sitting in the great hall, drinking with his half-brother Lame Lothar, his brother Ser Hosteen, his goodbrother Lord Lucias Vypren, nephew Ser Damon Vypren, and the Haighs.[3]
The next day, Raymund attends the wedding feast of Lord Edmure Tully and Roslin Frey.[4] Once the Red Wedding begins, the Smalljon defends himself by striking Raymund in the face with a leg of mutton. After Lord Roose Bolton stabs King Robb Stark, Catelyn saws the neck of Raymund's half-nephew, Jinglebell. When the mad Catelyn then begins clawing her own face,[4] Raymund slits her throat from ear to ear.[5]
