When Catelyn Stark asks Ryman Frey about Alesander's whereabouts at the wedding of Edmure Tully and Roslin Frey, Ryman squints at her before telling her Alesander is away. When Catelyn later feels the chainmail underneath the clothing of Edwyn Frey, she thinks of the absence of Alesander, Olyvar, and Perwyn Frey, and Roslin's crying, and realizes the reason for it.[3]
