The Vale and the location of Redfort
Redfort,[1] also called the Redfort,[2] is the ancient seat of House Redfort in the Vale of Arryn. The castle is located in the south of the valley near the source of a river which flows northeast to the narrow sea.[3] Redfort is southeast of the Eyrie, south of Ironoaks, and north of Wickenden.[4]
History
King Jaehaerys I Targaryen visited Redfort during a royal progress in 52 AC.[5]
Domeric Bolton spent three years as a squire to Horton Redfort, Lord of Redfort.[6]
