Petyr Baelish's brothel is a brothel in King's Landing owned by Lord Petyr Baelish, master of coin.[1] It is one of a few such establishments owned by Petyr.[2]

The ramshackle, timbered brothel is three stories tall. An oil lamp with a heavy chain and a globe of leaded red glass is found by its door. It has a crowded common room.[1]

The brothel is found near the Blackwater Rush.[1]

Recent Events

A Game of Thrones

Lord Petyr Baelish has Lady Catelyn Stark and Ser Rodrik Cassel brought to his brothel[1] after he and Varys speak with Catelyn at the Red Keep.[3] Petyr later guides Catelyn's husband, Lord Eddard Stark, down Aegon's High Hill and rides with him to the brothel, where Eddard is shocked to find Catelyn and Rodrik. Catelyn shows Littlefinger's blade to Eddard and tells him about the assassination attempt on their son, Bran. Petyr promises to help unearth the truth about the death of Lord Jon Arryn, Eddard's predecessor as Hand of the King. After Petyr leaves the room, Eddard tells Catelyn to return to Winterfell and gives her instructions for the north's defense.[1]

Following the arrest of Eddard Stark, Lord Baelish says he will find a place for Jeyne Poole, so Queen Cersei Lannister orders Ser Boros Blount of the Kingsguard to take Jeyne to Lord Petyr's apartments, and assure her that Littlefinger will take her to her father.[4]

A Dance with Dragons

Following the wedding of Ramsay Bolton and Arya Stark, actually Jeyne Poole, in the godswood of Winterfell, Ramsay has Theon strip Jeyne for the bedding, and Theon sees numerous scars covering Jeyne's back where she had been whipped. Ramsay asks Jeyne if she knows how to please a man, and Jeyne replies fearfully that she has been trained, implying that she had been kept in one of Petyr Baelish's brothels,[5] but it is unclear if this was the same brothel as the one Catelyn reunited with Ned.

Quotes

They went inside, through a crowded common room where a fat woman was singing bawdy songs while pretty young girls in linen shifts and wisps of colored silk pressed themselves against their lovers and dandled on their laps.[1]

—thoughts of Eddard Stark

Eddard: What is this place?
Petyr: Just what it appears. A brothel. Can you think of a less likely place to find a Catelyn Tully? As it chances, I own this particular establishment, so arrangements were easily made.[1]

Would the lord and lady like the use of a bedchamber? I should warn you, Stark, we usually charge for that sort of thing around here.[1]

Whores love to gossip, and as it happens I own a brothel or three.[2]

Brothels are a much sounder investment than ships, I've found. Whores seldom sink, and when they are boarded by pirates, why, the pirates pay good coin like everyone else.[6]
