Ser Richard Horpe is a knight of House Horpe in service to Stannis Baratheon.

Ser Richard is lean, dark-haired and hard-eyed. His face is marred by pockmarks and old scars.[1]

As a squire Richard dreamed of being a member of the Kingsguard, but Queen Cersei Lannister spoke against him and King Robert Baratheon passed him over. He is said to lust for battle. Stannis Baratheon refers to him as "the slayer".[2]
