Galbart Glover's maester[1] is a maester who serves Galbart Glover, Master of Deepwood Motte. His given name is unknown.

Recent Events

A Clash of Kings

While Galbart Glover is fighting in southern Westeros during the War of the Five Kings, his castle of Deepwood Motte is captured by Asha Greyjoy as part of the invasion of the north by ironborn.[2]

A Dance with Dragons

Asha returns to Deepwood after Euron Greyjoy is selected in the kingsmoot on Old Wyk. Galbart's maester, always anxious around Asha, brings her a letter sent from Barrowton in which Ramsay Bolton demands the ironborn vacate the north. Asha does not have a reply sent, but allows the maester to inform Lady Sybelle Glover, Galbart's sister-in-law, of its contents.[1]

When mountain clans try to infiltrate Deepwood in preparation of Stannis Baratheon's attack on the castle, Asha has the people of Deepwood gathered in the bailey. Lorren Longaxe strikes the maester with a mailed fist when he protests, breaking his nose. The maester urges Asha to surrender to Stannis, but she decides instead to make for her longships on the Bay of Ice. Asha is subsequently captured in the fight by Deepwood Motte.[1]

Jon Snow, Lord Commander of the Night's Watch, has Clydas send a raven to Deepwood in an attempt to warn Stannis of Arnolf Karstark's planned treachery.[3]
