Season 3 of House of the Dragon is the third season of the series.

Pre-production

House of the Dragon was officially renewed for a third season on the 13th June 2024, three days before the release of the first episode of the second season.^[1] The day after of the season 2 finale aired, showrunner Ryan Condal revealed season 3 is scheduled to enter production in early 2025. The scripts being currently worked on, the pre-production is planned for the fall 2024.^[2]
