House Hollard was a knightly house sworn to House Darklyn. They were extirpated with the exception of Ser Dontos Hollard after the Defiance of Duskendale. They blazon their arms with barry red and pink, three golden crowns on a black chief.[1][2][3][4]

A Song of Ice and Fire
- Ser Dontos is a drunk knight.
- At the Tourney for King Joffrey's 13th Name Day, Ser Dontos appeared half-dressed, drunk and unable to take his turn in the jousting. King Joffrey I ordered him drowned in ale, but Sansa Stark pleaded for his life, and his life was spared.
- Ser Dontos met with Sansa Stark in the godswood, plotting with her to escape.
- The night that King Joffrey died, Ser Dontos helped Sansa escape King's Landing, getting her to a boat which rowed her out to a waiting ship where she met Petyr Baelish. Petyr then had Ser Dontos killed to keep the secret of Sansa's escape.
- House Hollard were sworn to House Darklyn since the Age of Heroes and three times Darklyn kings took Hollard wives.
- Ser Symon Hollard was the master at arms at the Dun Fort. He slew Ser Gwayne Gaunt of the Kingsguard during the capture of King Aerys II.
- Ser Jon Hollard was the steward of Duskendale.
- Robin Hollard was a squire. He taunted the King during his captivity.
- Ser Symon was killed by Ser Barristan Selmy during Ser Barristan's rescue of the King.
- All of House Hollard with the exception of Dontos were killed during or executed after the Defiance of Duskendale. Dontos only escaped that punishment when Ser Barristan pleaded for his life.
