Addison Hill, known as the Bastard of Cornfield, was a bastard knight from House Swyft and a Lord Commander of the Kingsguard.[1]
Character
Addison is remembered for being quick, strong, observant, and famed for his prowess with sword and shield. He was devoted to his king.[3]
History
In 10 AC, Ser Addison was chosen by Queen Visenya Targaryen to be one of the first knights of the Kingsguard when the order was founded by King Aegon I Targaryen.[1] He would serve his king with honor and valor until the end of his life.[3]
Despite his bastard origin, Addison eventually rose to become Lord Commander of the Kingsguard.[2] It is unknown when it happened, however. It could have been during the reign of Aegon I or during one of his sons's, Aenys I and Maegor I Targaryen.
