House Saltcliffe of Saltcliffe is one of the ironborn noble houses on the island of Saltcliffe in the Iron Islands. According to a semi-canon source, the Saltcliffes rule the isle and are named after it.[1]
According to semi-canon sources their sigil is a nine-headed serpent, black on silver.[2] Their words are not mentioned in the books.

A Clash of Kings
The Saltcliffes go to Pyke when Lord Balon Greyjoy summons the ironborn to crown himself King of the Iron Islands.[3] Balon then styles himself King of the Isles and the North during the War of the Five Kings.[4]
A Dance with Dragons
Lord Donnor Saltcliffe is a bannerman of Euron Greyjoy,[5] who was chosen as Balon's successor at the kingsmoot on Old Wyk.[6]
