Alla Tyrell is the eldest daughter of Ser Leo Tyrell and Lady Alys Beesbury. She is a granddaughter of Ser Victor Tyrell, a cousin of Lord Mace Tyrell of Highgarden.[3]
Appearance and Character
Alla is shy and pretty. She is a maiden close in age to Sansa Stark, and has not flowered yet.[4] Alla and Megga Tyrell follow their cousin Elinor, who has already flowered.[4]
Alla has a beautiful singing voice and can play the woodharp.[4] She sometimes plays a kissing game with Megga.[4]
Recent Events
A Storm of Swords
Alla is one of Queen Margaery Tyrell's ladies-in-waiting. She is a constant companion of Margaery. She meets and befriends Sansa Stark when she is invited to dinner with the Tyrells.[5]
Alla attends Sansa's marriage to Tyrion Lannister. During the wedding feast, Alla and her cousins ignore the bride to show their dissatisfaction with the match, as the Tyrells had hoped for Sansa to marry Willas Tyrell instead.[6]
She later attends the feast for Margaery's wedding to Joffrey Baratheon.[7]
A Feast for Crows

Alla attends the wedding of Margaery and King Tommen I Baratheon, during which she dances with Tommen and Margaery.[8] Taena of Myr tells Queen Regent Cersei Lannister that her maid, Senelle, brings messages to Alla and her cousins.[8]
Margaery's cousins tease Ser Osney Kettleblack about his nose.[9] Ser Osmund Kettleblack tells Cersei that Margaery often sings with Alla, and that Ser Tallad the Tall desires Alla and her cousin Elinor.[10] Tallad accompanies Alla during one of Margaery's rides.[11]
Alla runs from the room when Cersei tells Margaery that Ser Loras Tyrell has been wounded in the siege of Dragonstone.[12]
Cersei conspires to have Queen Margaery implicated in extramarital relations, so she has the Blue Bard confess that Margaery and her cousins had sex with many men. Alla allegedly only watched, however, and tried to persuade Margaery to stop. Cersei thinks this would make the confession more believable.[13] Taena tries to persuade Alla to confess and bear witness against Margaery and their cousins. Cersei then has Margaery and her cousins, including Alla, imprisoned by the Faith of the Seven.[14]
A Dance with Dragons
Almost all of the men named as Margaery's lovers have denied the accusation or recanted, so she and her cousins, including Alla, are handed over by the High Septon to the custody of Lord Randyll Tarly. Randyll swears a holy oath to return them for their trial.[15]
Quotes
Alla had a lovely voice, and when coaxed would play the woodharp and sing songs of chivalry and lost loves.[4]
—thoughts of Sansa Stark
Cersei: The shy one?
Taena: So she seems, but there is more of sly than shy in her. Leave her to me, my sweet.[13]
