Ser Horas Redwyne, mocked as Horror, is a knight of House Redwyne and heir to the Arbor. He is the son of Lord Paxter Redwyne and Lady Mina Tyrell, and older twin to, Ser Hobber.[2]

Horas is homely with orange hair and a square, freckled face.[3]

When Samwell Tarly was sent to the Arbor to become a page, Ser Horas and Ser Hobber teased and humiliated him.[4]

Recent Events

A Game of Thrones

Ser Horas takes part in the Hand's tourney in King's Landing, he is unhorsed by Jory Cassel in his first joust.[5] He remains in King's Landing after the death of King Robert I Baratheon.[6]

A Clash of Kings

The Iron Throne keeps the Redwyne twins as hostages for the good behaviour of their father, Lord Paxter Redwyne, during the War of the Five Kings. During the tourney on King Joffrey's name day, Horas unhorses an elderly knight bedecked with silver griffins on a striped blue and white field.[7] Horas and his brother, Ser Hobber, attempt to sneak out of King's Landing via the Moonrunner, but the plot is discovered and halted by Varys and Tyrion Lannister.[8]

While Hobber is returned to their father as a show of good faith, Horas remains a hostage in the capital. He is among the procession to see Princess Myrcella off to Dorne. When the mob riots in the streets of King's Landing, he saves Lady Tanda Stokeworth's life.[9] Horas is injured in the Battle of the Blackwater.[10]

A Storm of Swords

Sansa Stark notices one of the Redwyne twins sparring with Ser Tallad the Tall.[11]

A Feast for Crows

Horas, Hobber, and their father Paxter attend the funeral of Lord Tywin Lannister.[12] The twins are both said to fall in love with Margaery Tyrell, forgetting their arguments over who would be the next Lord of the Arbor and instead wanting to join the Kingsguard just to be near her.[13] Horas and Hobber visit with Queen Margaery often, with Horas taking up the lute and Hobber bringing fruit and flowers.[14] Queen Regent Cersei Lannister has an arrest warrant signed for both Horas and Hobber as part of her plans to remove Margaery. He is given comfortable rooms after his arrest.[15]

A Dance with Dragons

The Redwyne twins are declared innocent.[16]
