Davos Baratheon was the son of Lord Orys Baratheon and Lady Argella Durrandon, and a brother to Ser Raymont Baratheon.[1]

History

Davos fought beside his father during the Vulture Hunt in 37 AC. During the battle at Stonehelm, Orys's forces crushed a part of the Vulture King's host. Davos was present when Orys died on the march home to Storm's End, from wounds he had taken in the battle. According to the accounts of Davos, his father had died content, having avenged the loss of his hand by cutting off the hands and feet of Lord Walter Wyl after the battle.[1]

Later that year, a grateful King Aenys I Targaryen rewarded Davos with gold, offices, and honors.[2]
