King of Yronwood was a title used by monarchs from House Yronwood of Yronwood in Dorne.[1]
History
Ruling from Yronwood in the southeastern Red Mountains, the Kings of Yronwood once controlled half of Dorne.[1] Their last king was Yorick V Yronwood, whose vassals included, among others, the Blackmonts of Blackmont, the Jordaynes of the Tor, the Qorgyles of Sandstone, and the Wyls of Wyl.[2] The Yronwoods were defeated by House Martell during Nymeria's War, however, with Yorick forced to join the Night's Watch.[3]
