Prince of Chroyane (or Princess of Chroyane) was the title held by the ruler of the Rhoynish city of Chroyane, prior to its destruction in the Second Spice War.[1]
History
Garin, the Prince of Chroyane, united the Rhoynar nobility in a grand alliance against the Valyrian Freehold, which included Nymeria, the Princess of Ny Sar. Garin led a Rhoynish army of 250,000, and he began being called "the great" after conquering Selhorys, Valysar, and Volon Therys, but Garin's army was ultimately defeated by the Volantenes and their Valyrian kin at Volantis, who then went on to destroy Chroyane. According to legend, the captive Garin called down a curse upon the Valyrians at Chroyane, which resulted in the Sorrows.[1]
