Prince of Ny Sar (or Princess of Ny Sar) was the title held by the ruler of the Rhoynish city of Ny Sar, prior to its destruction in the Second Spice War.[1]
History
Garris the Grey, Prince of Ny Sar, expelled hairy men who lived where the city of Norvos would later develop.[2]
At the time of the Rhoynish Wars, Princess Nymeria ruled in Ny Sar, where she had a palace.[3] During the Second Spice War, Garin the Great, the Prince of Chroyane, united the Rhoynar nobility in a grand alliance against the Valyrian Freehold, which included Princess Nymeria, but they were defeated by the Volantenes and their Valyrian kin at Volantis.[1] Fearing the enslavement of her people, Princess Nymeria filled ten thousand ships with as many women and children as they could carry, and led them down the Rhoyne past Sarhoy and into the Summer Sea, eventually arriving in Dorne.[1]
