House Royce of Runestone are bannermen to House Arryn. According to semi-canon sources they blazon their arms with a shower of pebbles on an orange field. The main branch of House Royce rules over Runestone.

They have several sets of ancient plate armor enscribed with runes that are thought to make their wearers immune to injury. The truth of this claim has been called into question.

• Ysilla Royce of Runestone, married Ser Mychel Redfort.
• Kyle Royce was a member of Brandon Stark's party when he went to King's Landing to demand Rhaegar Targaryen's head for kidnapping his sister. It is not known from which branch he came.
• While the War of the Five Kings raged, Yohn attempted to pressure Lysa Arryn into entering the war.
• Lord Yohn was one of the Lords Declarant demanding the removal of Lord Petyr Baelish.
• The Lords Declarant signed and issued their statement of demands from Runestone.
• When Lord Yohn went north with his son Ser Waymar to the Wall, they stopped at Winterfell. There they hunted and in the training yard, Lord Yohn fought and defeated both Lord Eddard Stark and Ser Rodrik Cassel.
