The Stony Shore village is a fishing village located along the Stony Shore on the western coast of the north. The village's name has not been published.
Recent Events

[edit]Balon Greyjoy, Lord of the Iron Islands, sends his son, Theon, and brother, Aeron Damphair, along with Dagmer Cleftjaw, to harry the Stony Shore and raid its fishing villages with eight longships during the War of the Five Kings.[2]
Theon reluctantly plans an attack on the unnamed village, having his longships brought to the shoreline before dawn and leading his men to attack the villagers as they sleep. The village is burned and its men are put to the sword, aside from a few who are allowed to escape to inform Torrhen's Square of the attack. Young, fair women are claimed by the ironborn as salt wives, and older or uglier women are either raped and killed or taken as thralls.[3]
Meanwhile, Leobald Tallhart, the castellan of Torrhen's Square, has sent his nephew Benfred to deal with reports of raiders along the Stony Shore.[4] Theon has his men wait in by a crook in the road near the village. When Benfred's Wild Hares arrive, Theon's archers fire upon them from gorse and Theon leads his men-at-arms in attacking the unsuspecting young northmen. After the lopsided battle, Aeron Damphair drowns the captured Benfred as a sacrifice to the Drowned God.[3]
Theon departs the village for Winterfell, while Dagmer heads for Torrhen's Square.[3][5]
