House Lydden

House Lydden of Deep Den is a noble house of the Westerlands. The location of their keep has not been revealed yet.
Their banner is a white badger on per pale green and brownn inverted pall between three lion's heads, yellow on black. Their motto has not been mentioned.

During the timespan of the events described on A Song of Ice and Fire the house is ruled by Lewys Lydden, Lord of Deep Den.
With unspecified familiar relationship to the main branch of the house there is also Jeyne Lydden, second wive of Stevron Frey (Lord Walder's firstborn) and mother to Aegon Frey and Maegelle Frey. She died in a fall from a horse.

- Tywin's disposition at the Battle of the Green Fork placed the Lyddens, with the Leffords, the Serrets and three hundred heavy horse at the center, under the command of Kevan Lannister.
- One of Lord Lydden's archers was hanged at Harrenhal by the command of Tywin Lannister, for having started a fight by taunting the Bloody Mummers over Beric Dondarrion.
- Lord Lewys Lydden is one of the great western lords that is honored at King's Landing after the Battle of the Blackwater.
