House Harlaw of the Tower of Glimmering is a branch of the main House Harlaw that rules the eponymous island from their seat at the Ten Towers. The branch's seat is the Tower of Glimmering.

A Feast for Crows

Hotho Humpback goes to Ten Towers to support Asha Greyjoy's bid to become queen after the passing of her father, King Balon Greyjoy. He gives his cousin, Lord Rodrik Harlaw, a copy of Archmaester Marwyn's The Book of Lost Books in the hope it might convince Rodrik to marry his daughter.^[2]

At the kingsmoot on Old Wyk, Hotho offers his support to Victarion Greyjoy if he agrees to marry his daughter. Victarion says that Hotho is Lord Rodrik's heir, though Rodrik himself had designated their cousin Harras the Knight.^[3] Hotho switches to Euron Greyjoy after hearing his speech.^[4]

Hotho reports Ser Harras's capture of Greyshield to Victarion at the feast celebrating their victory after the taking of the Shields. With Harras named Lord of Greyshield by Euron Crow's Eye, Hotho Humpback is the new heir to Ten Towers and the titles Lord of the Ten Towers, Lord of Harlaw, and Harlaw of Harlaw.^[5]
