House Celtigar

House Celtigar of Claw Isle is an old noble house. They rule over Bay of Crabs from its castle on the Claw Isle, which is rumoured to hold fabulous treasures that bear witness of their wealth. Among their propierty there are Myrish carpets, Volantene glass, gold and silver plate, jeweled cups, magnificent hawks, a trained sea eagle, an axe of Vlayrian steel, chests of rubies, a horn said to summon krakens from under the sea, and many fine wines.
Their arms depict red crabs strewn on white. Their words do not appear in the books.

The only known Celtigar during the timespan of the events described on A Song of Ice and Fire is:
- Lord Ardrian Celtigar: Lord of Claw Isle. Called "The Red Crab". An old and sour man.

- Lord Adrian Celtigar answered Stannis' summon when he crowned himself king and called his banners.
- Stannis comments to Davos his disgust about having to sup with his lords, among them Lord Adrian who will keep asking which stomlords will join him.
- Lord Ardrian was present during the burning of the images of the seven gods from the sept of Dragonstone, he covered his face with a square of linen.
- Lord Velaryon’s contributed to Stannis fleet with the ornated ship Red Claw.
- Lord Ardrian was made prisoner at the Battle of the Blackwater, and bent the knee to King Joffrey. He remained at King's Landing afterwards.
- Ser Axell Florent suggests Stannis to sack the Claw Isle as a reprisal of Celtigar's surrender, but Davos convinces him otherwise.
- Lord Celtigar declared at Tyrion's trial that he had heard the Imp threatening Joffrey.
- The Celtigars claimed rulership over the Cracklaw Point, but the inhabitants did not acknowledged them. When they helped Visenya during the wars of conquest, they were oficially freed from pleding fealty to any one but the Iron Throne. However, the Celtigars kept sending them tax collectors that were never heard again.
