Wayfarer's Rest is the seat of House Vance of Wayfarer's Rest in the riverlands.

History

Queen Rhaena Targaryen and her dragon, Dreamfyre, briefly stayed with the Vances of Wayfarer's Rest.[1]

Karyl Vance becomes Lord of Wayfarer's Rest after the death of his father in the battle in the hills below the Golden Tooth.[2]

After the Battle of Oxcross, captives such as Ser Lymond Vikary are held here.[3]

Wayfarer's Rest is a reference by George R. R. Martin to Liane the Wayfarer from The Dying Earth by Jack Vance.
