House Norcross is a noble house from the Reach. According to semi-canon sources, they blazon their shield with a cross embattled, black on white.[1]
History
During the Dance of the Dragons, Ser Tyler Norcross supported King Aegon II Targaryen and the greens, joining the host of Lord Ormund Hightower. Ser Tyler was a member of the Caltrops, a group of conspirators that wanted the dragonseeds Ulf the White and Hard Hugh Hammer dead, though he was later killed at the Second Battle of Tumbleton.[2][3]
Ser Jeffory Norcross, known as Neveryield, was a famous knight of the Kingsguard.[4]
Ser Hosman Norcross was a household knight in service to Ser Colin Florent, castellan of Brightwater Keep. Ser Colin received an offer from Lord Tywin Lannister to a betrothal between his son Tyrion to Colin's daughter Delena, after Delena was despoiled by King Robert I Baratheon in the wedding bed of her cousin, Selyse, and his brother, Lord Stannis. However, Colin preferred to wed his daughter to Ser Hosman over a dwarf. The result of King Robert and Delena's union was Edric Storm, fostered with Lord Renly Baratheon.[5][6][7]

A Feast for Crows
Ser Bayard Norcross is among the household knights who spend time with Queen Margaery Tyrell.[8] Queen Cersei Lannister has an arrest warrant signed for Bayard as part of her plan to get rid of Margaery. He is sent to the dungeons of the Red Keep after his arrest.[9]
