Rookeries of seals and sea lions reside at the isles of the Lonely Light.[1] Sea lions also live in the Shivering Sea off the coasts of northern Essos.[2]
Culture
House Farwynd of the Lonely Light and their smallfolk are rumored to be skinchangers who can can take the forms of walruses, spotted whales, and sea lions.[1]
According to a semi-canon source, the arms of House Manning include a red sea lion.[3]
History
Lymond Hightower, the last King of the Hightower, and Ser Leo Costayne, the lord admiral of the Reach, were each known as the Sea Lion.[4][5]
