The white hart is a rare type of deer, supposed to be magical.[1]

After a white hart is sighted in the Kingswood, a royal hunt is organized, with Robert Baratheon being accompanied by Lord Renly Baratheon, Ser Barristan Selmy, Prince Joffrey Baratheon, Sandor Clegane, Ser Balon Swann and half the court.[2] However, wolves get to the white hart first.[3]
