Bloodfly
Bloodflies are bloodsucking glistening purple insects found in Essos. So named by the Dothraki, they can grow as large as bees, live in marshes and stagnant pools, and lay their eggs in the dead and dying.[1]
The wine of courage has bloodfly larvae among its ingredients.[2]
