Cedars are coniferous trees found in the known world.
History
Cedars once grew along the coast of Slaver's Bay near Meereen, but they were cut down by the Old Empire of Ghis or burned during the Ghiscari Wars.[1]
The Isle of Cedars was once full of cedars, but the trees were casualties of the Doom of Valyria. Velos in the south of the isle had palaces of cedar and pink marble.[2]
