Ser Raynard Ruskyn was a knight who became Lord Commander of the Kingsguard during the reign of King Aegon III Targaryen.[1]
History
Ser Raynard was a sworn brother of the Kingsguard during the regency of Aegon III by 135 AC. At the beginning of the king's defiance of the attempted coup against the Rogare family and Hand of the King, Lord Thaddeus Rowan, Ser Raynard was imprisoned in Maegor's Holdfast after being overwhelmed and wounded by the Lyseni.[1]
After Ser Marston Waters's death in the aftermath of the coup, Raynard was named Lord Commander of the Kingsguard.[1]
