The manticore is a legendary creature chimeric human head, lion's body and tail of a scorpion [1]. This legendary manticore appears to have been relatively common in the Valyrian statuary , and we find this is one of the gargoyles that adorn the fortress of Dragonstone. This manticore is the charge on the arms of House Lorch.
